Development and engineering application data analysis of automatic inclinometer
In response to the problems of low measurement efficiency and high manpower investment in traditional manual inclination measurement, a new automatic inclinometer is developed in this paper. On the basis of the slip inclinometer, this instrument has added a set of devices for automatic winding, automatic flipping, and automatic recording, achieving functions such as self-control, self-collection, and self-transmission. The automatic inclinometer has the characteristics of fast measurement speed, low power consumption, and good weather resistance, making it suitable for long-term outdoor work. The device has been operating successfully for more than one year in a horizontal deformation monitoring project for slopes at a hydropower station. The analysis of engineering application data shows that the instrument has high measurement accuracy, good stability, and the potential to replace manual labor and achieve fully automatic inclination measurement.
