Innovative power line management solutions based on dynamic line rating technology
As both electricity generation and consumption trends change rapidly nowadays, Dynamic Line Rating (DLR) technology is becoming more and more popular in case of transmission and distribution grids. Depending on the goal of its application, it is an efficient way of handling controlled temporary or long-term overloads, increase operational safety, provide solutions for anti-icing, or even gather a large number of input data for asset management expert systems by sensors installed in the grid.
