Participation of PV installations connected to LV grids in voltage support for the MV network

The Flex#Cantal project aimed to demonstrate how PV power plants connected to the Low Voltage (LV) grid can contribute to voltage support on the Medium Voltage (MV) grid. Led by Enedis, the main French DSO, in collaboration with Hespul and AURA-EE, this project focused on activating reactive power regulation of PV power plants with a total installed capacity of 8MW, connected to the LV distribution grid (400V), to address voltage issues on the MV grid (20 kV) and increase hosting capacity.
