Optimising grid planning in Paris: the challenge of long-term forecasting electricity demand on a very local scale

To achieve the COP21 Paris Agreement goals, Paris has set ambitious targets to reduce local energy consumption and reach carbon neutrality in 2050. The City has defined its own decarbonisation measures including ambitious thermal renovation volume, large electrification (for mobility and potentially for heating) and expansion of the urban heating and cooling networks.
