Adaptability of models and resilience of electricity forecasts on Enedis’ distribution network in response to new phenomena and changing behaviours regarding energy consumption
In order to anticipate congestion and enable the activation of levers ensuring electricity supply quality and network safety, grid operation activities within Enedis rely on energy forecasts. In recent years, new phenomena and changes in behaviour regarding energy consumption have modified electricity consumption profiles, requiring Enedis to increase the speed at which its forecasting models adapt.
