Equipment reliability modeling based on multi-dimensional time-varying universal generating functions
With the integration and diversification of equipment functions, the reliability of equipment makes it difficult to accurately characterize the integrated functional attributes of equipment. In this paper, we propose a reliability modeling and analysis method using a multidimensional time-varying general generating function, tailored to the multi-functional attributes of equipment. This approach involves decomposing the equipment’s multiple functional attributes, performing node analysis on each decomposed functional dimension, and discretizing the performance distribution of the equipment over time. Then, derive the universal generating function for each functional dimension using structural operators and establish a multi-dimensional time-varying universal function device reliability model by introducing superposition operators. Finally, a frequency-shifted track circuit transmitter within a rail transit signal system was used for numerical simulation as an example. The results demonstrated that the model in this paper can more comprehensively reflect the equipment’s reliability, verifying its innovation and effectiveness.
