Research on integrity management system and key evaluation technology of power station boiler
The safety of power station boilers, critical thermal components in power generation, has attracted considerable attention due to the harsh operational conditions they endure. This paper introduces integrity management, a prevalent approach in the management of pressure equipment, to enhance the safety management of power station boilers and explores key evaluation technologies pertinent to these boilers. Considering the distinctive characteristics of power station boilers, the integrity management system is structured around four primary facets: organizational structure, documentation system, implementation procedure, and technical system. This study also identifies four principal damage modes that impact seven major pressure - bearing components of utility boilers and proposes qualitative and semi-quantitative risk assessment techniques for these components, based on risk-based inspection (RBI). Moreover, the paper describes an integrity evaluation method that amalgamates testing methodologies with assessments of remaining life. For instance, parameters input for a main steam pipeline made from 12Cr1MoV material indicate a maximum equivalent stress of 57.76 MPa and an estimated residual life of 21.75 years. This research offers substantial insights into enhancing risk prevention and control strategies in power station boilers and encourages further exploration of innovative approaches in safety management.
