RUSSIAN SPIRIT AS AN ENERGY MODE OF THE RUSSIAN MENTALITY
The article presents an analysis of the Russian mentality in the light of the modal approach. The Russian mentality as a special form is defined as a way of setting the due (fixed by the operator “necessary”) and the volitional, expressing the motivation of an action by a volitional attitude (“I want”). The Russian mentality as a modal integrity manifests itself through three main modes: the semantic mode, the conceptualization of which is the Russian idea; the subjective mode, defined through the concept of “Russian soul”; the energy mode, expressed through the concept of “Russian spirit”. The Russian spirit is phenomenologically given to the individual consciousness as an objective form of energy of the bearers of “Russianness”, and the impulses emanating from it affect the entire ethno-social community, endowing individuals with energy that is transformed into objective activity, into individual ideas and meanings, into actions and mental reactions, into values and assessments. It is shown that for representatives of Russian culture and art, who connect the self-realization of the Russian spirit with energetic involvement in universal spirituality, it is typical to recognize the need to overcome objective forms of creativity and reject institutionally fixed models of spiritual life.
