THE SOURCE FACTORS IDENTIFICATION OF HEALTH PERSONNEL MIGRATION IN TERMS OF EDUCATION - ISSUES AND FALLOUTS

The paper deals with the comparison of the attitudes of doctors and nurses towards education, professional development, and career advancement during and after the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic in hospitals in Slovakia, and to identify sentiments related to emigration. In the study, we employed fundamental statistical techniques, including the calculation of sums and the determination of proportions. It is notable that the perception of education, professional, and career growth among healthcare personnel declined during the pandemic, with a notable 0.8-point difference between the pre- and post-pandemic periods. The primary factors motivating medical professionals to leave the Slovak Republic for another country are typically related to their working conditions and work organization.
