STUDY OF SURVIVALITY OF REINFORCED CONCRETE FRAME STRUCTURES OF A MULTISTORY BULDING UNDER EXPLOSIVE IMPACTS

The known variants of modeling the explosive effect on the structures of buildings and structures, as well as studies of the reliability and survivability of building structures under design loads, are considered. Calculations have been performed for a seven-story, six-span reinforced concrete frame with different cross-sectional parameters of columns and beams, taking into account explosive impact options using the finite element method and the LS DYNA program. A detailed analysis of the damage to individual structures and the stability of the frame as a whole under specified loads has been carried out. Recommendations are given on the design of building structures to prevent the progressive collapse of the building frame as a whole.

Abstract

The known variants of modeling the explosive effect on the structures of buildings and structures, as well as studies of the reliability and survivability of building structures under design loads, are considered. Calculations have been performed for a seven-story, six-span reinforced concrete frame with different cross-sectional parameters of columns and beams, taking into account explosive impact options using the finite element method and the LS DYNA program. A detailed analysis of the damage to individual structures and the stability of the frame as a whole under specified loads has been carried out. Recommendations are given on the design of building structures to prevent the progressive collapse of the building frame as a whole.
