FEATURES OF THE STRUCTURE FORMATION OF CELLULAR CONCRETE WITH CALCIUM-CONTAINING SILICATE ADDITIVES

The study of the structure formation of cement-ash foam concrete of natural hardening modified with calcium–containing silicate dispersed additives of chain structure – diopsideп and wollastonite. In foam concrete with additives of diopside and wollastonite, compressive strength is maintained and the average density of the material decreases due to additional air entrainment to 274 kg/m3 and 375 kg/m3, respectively, shrinkage deformations are reduced by 23% (with the introduction of diopside) and by 35% (with the introduction of wollastonite). It was found that with the introduction of wollastonite and diopside, a more complete hydration of the cement stone occurs. These mineral additives, having a high chemical affinity for the hydration products of Portland cement, activate the crystallization processes of its hydration products.
