PRACTICAL APPROACHES TO THE RESOLUTION OF COLLISIONS IN BUILDING INFORMATION MODELS

In recent decades, information modeling has become one of the key elements of the construction industry, providing integration of various sections of design solutions into a single model. The article considers the advantages and disadvantages of using information models. Particular attention is paid to collisions in BIM design, arising due to data inconsistency between different sections of projects. The process of identifying and eliminating collisions is illustrated in the example of a low-rise building using Navisworks and Revit software systems. In the considered case, intersections in the model were found both between construction elements and between engineering networks. Some domestic analogs of foreign software are given, the introduction of which will make it possible in time to fully ensure technological sovereignty in this area. It is noted that BIM-technologies not only increase the accuracy of design, but also contribute to innovative solutions to emerging problems, increasing the efficiency of construction. The article emphasizes the importance of information modeling both at the stage of project creation and in the subsequent operation of the facility, its role in improving the quality of design, optimization of construction and installation work, as well as the potential for further improvement of all processes, including the use of mobile technologies for rapid information exchange and communication. Potential benefits justify the costs, making information models essential for maintaining high standards of construction in modern conditions.
