Application of 3D Phased Array Technology Based on Manufacturing Supervision and Inspection of Catalytic Cracking Unit
As an important device to realize the conversion of heavy oil to light-end products, the quality of welded joints in the installation stage of catalytic cracking unit is very important. However, in the process of pressure pipeline installation, due to the site restrictions and the influence of the process direction, the pipeline butt weld can not be all X-ray inspection, and can not meet the quality requirements of supervision inspection. In this paper, the applicability of 3D phased array detection technology is discussed through the practical application of pressure pipeline detection in catalytic cracking unit under construction in a petrochemical plant. The results show that the method can make up for the weak link of weld detection in the complex structure and confined space of the pipeline, and can meet the requirements of supervision and inspection, and has important engineering application value for the start-up and safe and stable operation of the pressure pipeline and the whole device.
