Research on Key Technologies of Granary Clearing Robots

As an automated device specifically designed for the warehousing industry, granary clearing machines can significantly improve the low efficiency of manual clearing, effectively reduce safety risks during manual operations, lower costs, and ensure more efficient and safer operations. However, the current granary clearing machines on the market have a low level of automation, and some operational steps still require manual intervention. To address this issue, this paper first classifies and discusses the granary clearing machines currently in use. Secondly, it proposes the system composition and design plan for an intelligent clearing robot. Finally, it optimizes key technologies such as machine vision and multi-sensor fusion algorithms to address the unique environment inside granaries, enhancing the robot’s capabilities in recognition, perception, and operation. Through research on the key technologies of granary clearing robots, we aim to develop more intelligent, efficient, and safe machines to meet the needs of smart warehouse management in granaries. This research is expected to provide insights for the future development of intelligent clearing machines and smart grain storage systems.
