The research and application of risk-managed technical specifications for typical nuclear power plant
Risk-managed technical specification (RMTS) is a plant-specific technical specification based on plant configuration to determine the completion times (CT) of components in real time by evaluating the risk. With the technological advancement of the domestic risk-informed application and the release of the "Technical Policy on Configuration Risk Management of Nuclear Power Plants”, it creates a convenient condition for the implementation of RMTS for the nuclear power plants, and the implementation of RMTS can improve operational flexibility and extend the CT of safety systems under the premise of guaranteeing the safety of the unit. This paper gives the principles and prerequisites for implementing RMTS, and takes typical safety systems of a typical VVER unit as the research object to carry out the optimization analysis of implementing RMTS. In the meantime, this paper evaluates the impact of external events on the implementation of RMTS by taking an internal fire as an example, which provides guidance and suggestions for the subsequent in-depth research and engineering application.
