Direct asymmetric α-C–H functionalization of N-unprotected allylamine catalyzed by chiral pyridoxal

In this work, we report the first direct asymmetric C–H functionalization of N-unprotected allylamine, yielding chiral α-trifluoromethyl-β-amino alcohols and further extending the applications of VB 6 -based asymmetric biomimetic catalysis.
