THE PROCESS OF APPLYING THE KAZTEST SYSTEMIN TRILANGUAGE CONDITIONS AND THE RESULTS OF DETERMININGTHE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE OF THE STATE LANGUAGE

The article discusses the problems that arise in the course of language education in the Republic of Kazakhstan, contains information about the system for assessing the level of knowledge of citizens of the Kazakh language - KAZTEST, and describes the experience of one of the priority areas of activity of the National Testing Center - organizing and conducting tests on KAZTEST. In the current language situation, the second language for many citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the Kazakh language, hence the relevance of discussing ways to increase competence in it. In the context of bilingualism, the use of languages in the context of globalization has turned out to be more dynamic than the characteristics originally proposed by the theory of the domains of functioning and application of language. Bilinguals and multilinguals use different languages not only in different social spheres, but also within the same sphere. Knowledge of Kazakh, Russian and foreign languages is becoming an integral component of a person’s personal and professional activity in modern society. Modern reforms in the field of civil service of the Republic of Kazakhstan contribute to the development of the state language - Kazakh. To improve the level of proficiency in this language, the KAZTEST system was introduced.
