Synthesis and Characterization of Coated Wire Electrodes (CWE) Based on Ag-rGO-BCAC6ND2 Nanocomposites as Diazinon Pesticide Sensors

Research on synthesizing and characterizing coated wire electrodes (CWE) based on Ag-rGO-BCAC6ND2 nanocomposites as diazinon pesticide sensors has been successfully carried out. The use of Ag-rGO-BCAC6ND2 nanocomposite as a membrane aims to improve the performance of CWE as a diazinon pesticide sensor. The membrane was designed using a nanocomposite with a ratio of (Ag: rGO: BCAC6ND2) (3:1:4). The Ag-rGO-BCAC6ND2 nanocomposite combination shows excellent performance in facilitating the electron transfer process from the membrane to the electrode surface. CWE based on Ag-rGO-BCAC6ND2 nanocomposite has excellent characteristics and performance because the combination of Ag-rGO-BCAC6ND2 nanocomposite and diazinon pesticide can form a complex compound [Ag+(rGO-BCAC6ND2)(C12H21N2O3PS)(NO3-)]. This is indicated by the sensitivity (S) value (29.755 mV/decade), working concentration range (10-7 - 10-2 ppm), minimum detection limit (xmin = 292.5 mV), minimum concentration detection limit (xmin = 10-8 ppm), RSD (0.21), and response time (1 - 4 minute). The use of Ag nanoparticles in the Ag-rGO-BCAC6ND2 nanocomposite can reduce the xmin from 10-5 to 10-8 ppm. CWE based on Ag-rGO-BCAC6ND2 nanocomposite has excellent sensitivity, stability, and reproducibility values, so it can be used as a diazinon pesticide sensor in the environment.
