Water quality of the Guararé and Perales river using aquatic macroinvertebrates as bioindicators
The objective of this study was to know the quality of water through macroinvertebrate families in two sites for the Guararé River and one for the Perales River; The diversity and abundance of aquatic macroinvertebrates was determined. The sites sampled in the Guararé and Perales rivers were able to identify a total of four hundred and ninety-five individuals belonging to eleven orders of macroinvertebrates, of which nine belong to the class Insecta and two belong to the orders Molusca and Decápoda respectively. The orders with the greatest number of individuals recorded are: Ephemeropetera with two hundred individuals, Trichoptera with one hundred and sixty individuals and Diptera with thirty-five individuals. The results indicate that the water quality through the use of macroinvertebrates and applying the BMWP/Pan presented good quality values for the Cucula-Botoncillo point, while the Guararé1 Llano Abajo point indicates contaminated water quality, due to the disturbances present. in the study area, while the point of the Perales River, a tributary of the Guararé River, presented waters of regular quality. The diversity at the points of the Guararé River during sampling showed an average of $\mathbf{H}^{\prime}=\mathbf{2} .44$ for CuculaBotoncillo; $\mathbf{H}^{\prime}=\mathbf{2 . 0 1}$ for Guararel Llano Abajo and, $\mathbf{H}^{\prime}=1.87$ for the Perales River Shannon diversity ($\mathbf{H}^{\prime}$) presents a mean value for the sampled points, which indicates that they are influenced by anthropic factors; for the Simpson index (D) showed that at least two individuals captured at each of the collection points are of the same species.
