Patterns of Changes in the Strength Characteristics of Rocks of the Shuak Massif

In this paper, the patterns of changes in the strength characteristics of the rocks of the Shuak massif are considered. The research focuses on the analysis of the physical and mechanical properties of rocks, taking into account their structure, mineral composition, metasomatic changes, weathering, oxidation and fracturing. In the course of the study, key factors influencing the change in rock strength were identified, such as mineral composition, textural features, degree of fracturing and conditions of occurrence. The obtained results can be used to predict the behavior of rocks in the conditions of field development, as well as in the design of engineering structures on the territory of the massif. Patterns of rock fracturing changes depending on tectonic disturbances and intrusion contacts have also been established, which should be taken into account when organizing engineering and geological studies.
