Research on Intelligent Lane Changing Control System for Assisted Autonomous Driving Vehicles of Different Styles

A kind of intelligent lane change control system based on MAS is presented. This system simulates the interaction of several autonomous driving vehicles, and designs an improved reinforcement learning algorithm to optimize the decision making. This algorithm considers the safety distance, the running efficiency, and the coordination with the surrounding vehicles, to guarantee the safe and smooth operation. The experiment shows that the intelligent lane change control system is more efficient and safer than the conventional one. Under typical traffic conditions, the system can reduce the lane change time by an average of 35%, and the successful rate of lane change can be raised to 97.5% Furthermore, the simulation results indicate that MAS can effectively decrease the potential collision rate and achieve high efficiency of multi-vehicle coordination. This study provides new theoretical support and technical paths for the development of intelligent control technology in the field of autonomous driving, especially in dealing with the problem of multi-vehicle interaction in complex traffic environments. It shows good applicability.
