Transforming CQA Through Digital Innovation
Construction quality assurance is a planned and systematic pattern of actions taken to verify that construction materials and services achieve compliance with technical, contractual, and regulatory requirements. An essential element of CQA involves managing vast amounts of information: construction-related pictures, daily field reports, field and laboratory testing data, testing data from third-party sources, drawings, construction-related communications, email, and more. CQA consultants and their teams have historically relied on manual processes to manage all this information — collecting field data with paper and pen, inputting this data into spreadsheets or word processors, and saving all CQA information in folders with a basic organizational structure.
