THE EFFECTIVENESS OF PROJECT-BASED DIGITAL LEARNING APPROACH IN ENGAGING STUDENTS ACTIVELY IN LEARNING

A student-centered project-based learning approach supports teachers to use it in teaching and facilitation to promote teaching that responds to student ideas. Therefore, this survey aims to test the effective use of a digital project-based learning approach, as a way to encourage students' active involvement in learning. The objective of this survey is to conduct a random sampling of 30 students. Quantitative data were analysed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics using the TAM Model with the help of SPSS version 27. A five likert questionnaire in 10 statements was distributed to respondents. The study shows the effectiveness of the implementation of a student-centered digital project-based approach can improve knowledge and develop students' digital skills with a significant difference <0.01, the results show a difference in the relationship between the pre-test mean=12.4, sd=1.82 and the post-test mean=13.3, sd=1.49. The results of the study also show that there is a significant difference between the control group and the experimental group conducted in the study based on a digital project-based learning approach in teaching and facilitation as the active involvement of students. The results show that the digital project-based learning approach successfully promotes active student engagement with increased learning content knowledge and digital literacy skills. Therefore, a digital project-based approach is highly recommended for use in teaching and facilitation by RBT students and should be encouraged at all levels of education.
