Mixed Convection of Heat and Mass Transfer of Casson Fluid Flow Over a Moving Horizontal Plate with Convective Boundary Conditions

This research article primarily explores mixed convection involving a Casson fluid as it flows over a horizontally moving plate. To tackle this, the study initiates by converting the partial differential equations (PDEs) that delineate fluid flow and the accompanying convective boundary conditions into ordinary differential equations (ODEs). This conversion is achieved by applying a dimensionless similarity transformation (ST) and utilizing the one-parameter continuous group method. Subsequently, the acquired ODEs are systematically solved using a combination of the finite difference method and a specialized 'dsolve' technique based on Richardson extrapolation. This innovative approach enhances the precision and efficiency of ODE solutions. The paper extensively investigates how several features, together with the properties of the Casson fluid and other applicable parameters, influence the flow variables. These discoveries are visually depicted through graphical representations, offering a lucid and insightful comprehension of the intricacies of this mixed convection scenario.
