2D Graphene‐Like Carbon Coated Solid Electrolyte for Reducing Inhomogeneous Reactions of All‐Solid‐State Batteries (Adv. Energy Mater. 1/2025)

All-Solid-State Batteries In article number 2403247, Hun-Gi Jung and co-workers proposed a strategy to mitigate local overcharge in all-solid-state batteries by coating Li6PS5Cl with graphene-like carbon, yielding GLC@LPSCl. This coating established a continuous electron conducting pathway in the composite cathode, reducing inhomogeneous reaction and interfacial side reactions. Even with reduced conductive agent content, the GLC@LPSCl cell demonstrated excellent capacity retention (∼90%) after 200 cycles, and superior performance at increased cathode loadings.
