Vladikavkaz military vocational school (Part 1)
The article is devoted to the history of the Vladikavkaz military-vocational school, opened at the very beginning of the 20th century. The school was opened at the Military Headquarters of the Terek Cossack Army. Young males were trained there. Mostly, these were people belonging to the Cossack class. The main goal of the school was to train master specialists who could provide young Cossacks entering the service with a full set of uniforms. The school operated on the basis of specially developed rules. The immediate management was performed by a person holding the position of the head of the school. The work reflects the financial side of the opening and subsequent functioning of the school - the costs of arrangement, wages for craftsmen and teachers, provision of all necessary materials and tools. The work is based on documents of the Central State Archive of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania. It reflects the entire program of the school, which, in addition to the military-craft direction, also taught some subjects included in the program of schools under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Public Education.
