Study of Migration Behavior and Optical Properties of Self‐Trapped Hole by Hydrogen Vacancy in KH2PO4 Crystal
In article number 2400184, Tingyu Liu and co-workers study the local stability and mobility resulting from polarizers consisting of hydrogen vacancy defects and self-trapped holes in KH2PO4. The cover image represents the tendency of holes to be self-trapped in the (HPO4)– group and difficult to transfer. Due to the self-trapped holes, the crystal produces additional absorption and luminescence through photoexcitation, lowering the laser damage threshold.
