Economic security and sustainable growth of Russia: analyzing threats and challenges under sanctions restriction

The article presents an analysis of the main indicators that determine the level of economic security and the state of the Russian economy under the influence of anti-Russian economic sanctions for the period from 2017 to 2023. The research allowed to identify the main threats and challenges to Russia’s economic security, to consider the reasons for their emergence, to substantiate the directions that allow to eliminate them. The authors concluded that to overcome the growing threats and challenges to the economic security of the national economy and to strengthen its economic position in the world market it is necessary to restore sustainable growth and the formation of a competitive economy on the basis of interaction between the state, business, science and education.
