This form of interaction between the public and private sectors is an effective way to modernize and expand infrastructure facilities in Russian regions. Partnerships allow attracting private investment and technology, which helps improve the quality of services provided and promotes economic growth. The authors studied the role of public-private partnerships as an effective mechanism for the socio-economic development of the region. The authors focused on the idea that public-private partnerships will help effectively influence the solution of problems in the field of infrastructure development and can help smooth out the uneven development of regions. The concept of the cumulative effect was considered in the context of the common interest of all parties involved in the partnership form in the implementation of infrastructure projects, and it was found that many factors must be taken into account in order to achieve success in the framework of public-private partnership. First of all, it is important to establish an open dialogue between government agencies and private investors in order to take into account the interests of both parties. This will not only increase the level of trust, but also create conditions for effective joint work.
