修辞受众是新修辞学中的核心修辞要素。新修辞学受众理论侧重于受众意识，从受众立场进行调整策略和手段以达到预期效果。本文以《中华文化概览》英译为例，从新修辞受众理论的视角探讨翻译方法，旨在为中文文本翻译提供新的视角，为其开辟新的路径和方法。New Rhetoric Audience Theory is the core rhetorical element in New Rhetoric, which emphasizes audience awareness and adjusts strategies and means from the audience’s standpoint in order to achieve the desired effect. Starting from the New Rhetorical Audience Theory, this paper explores the translation methods from the specific cases in the English translation of Understanding the “Dragon”: A Panorama of Chinese Culture. This study aims to provide a new perspective for the translation of Chinese texts, with a view to offering new paths and methods.
