Excited Pd-catalyzed dearomative 1,4-dicarbofunctionalization of nonactivated aromatic rings
1,4-difunctionalization of nonactivated arenes has been accomplished by the excited-palladium catalysis via the radical generation of a cyclohexadienyl-Pd( ii ) intermediate.
