A Study on the Effects of Tourist Destination Sensibility and Personality on Satisfaction, Behavior, and Revisit Intention
This study was conducted with individuals who visited major tourist destinations in Korea within the last five years to examine the effects of the sensibility and personality of these tourist destinations on satisfaction and behavior. Additionally, it aims to verify the influence of tourist satisfaction on behavior, as well as the respective effects of both tourist satisfaction and behavior on revisit intention through empirical research. What distinguishes this study from existing studies is its use of both the sensibility and personality of tourist destinations as independent variables. A total of 1,500 valid responses were collected in a survey, and factor analysis was conducted to derive three tourist destination sensibility factors and five personality factors. It was found that tourist destination sensibility and personality had statistically significant effects on satisfaction, while they had partial effects on behavior. Tourist satisfaction had a positive effect on behavior, while both tourist satisfaction and behavior had statistically significant effects on revisit intention.
