Effect of Correct Shampooing on Scalp Health - For Middle and High School Students -

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of shampoo education on scalp hair health of middle and high school students who are experiencing rapid hormonal changes due to physical and mental growth and academic stress, and to suggest a plan to manage healthy scalp hair by verifying the effect on improving scalp hair health in 20 middle and high school students. For the evaluation analysis, IBM SPSS Statistics Window 25.0 program and diagnostic device were used, and images were evaluated with a monitor. Home care scalp hair shampoo management was verified to be effective in increasing scalp moisture in middle and high school students. There were statistically significant differences between the experimental group (t=7.590, p<.001) and the comparative group (t=5.284, p<.01), the moisture content was statistically significant between the pre-post scores in both the experimental group (t=-11.342, p<.001) and the comparative group (t=-3.956, p<.01). It was effective in improving scalp tone and reducing each mass of middle and high school students, and shampoo education using scalp hair shampoo was more effective in reducing oil content and increasing moisture content. Satisfaction with the product and product effectiveness averaged more than 4 points, indicating that participants in the experiment were satisfied with the changes in their scalp after shampooing education. It was confirmed that shampoo education using scalp hair shampoo is helpful in improving the scalp hair health of middle and high school students.
