MORAL LEADERSHIP PRACTICES OF THE 10TH PRIME MINISTER OF MALAYSIA: A CONTENT ANALYSIS OF WRITTEN POSTS ON INSTAGRAM
The study aims to explore the moral leadership practices demonstrated by the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia (10th PM) through a written post on Instagram. To achieve the objectives, this study used a qualitative approach through content analysis. The analysis of written posting on Anwar Ibrahim’s Instagram starts from the first day of his appointment as the 10th PM, which is 24th November 2022 until 31st December 2022. Themes found were analysed manually using thematic analysis. Studies show that there were seven moral leadership practices in the written posting on his Instagram: discussion, integrity, politeness, friendship, appreciation, unity, and equality. This finding proves that the 10th PM practices moral leadership that should be shown as the number one leader of the country, and thus be an example to be followed by the community, especially leaders at various levels.
