Development and Effectiveness of a Christian Parenting Coaching Capacity-Building Program

The purpose of this study is to develop a program to improve the parenting coaching capacity of Christian parents with children and to test the effectiveness of the program. To this end, a program was developed and the experimental group and control group were each provided with a pre-test and a pre-test group. A follow-up survey was conducted, and a nine-session program was administered to the experimental group. As a result of the study, it was found that there were no significant differences in any of the seven sub-factors in the control group, whereas the experimental group showed significant differences in the five sub-factors of self-understanding, child understanding, self-growth, relationship formation, and growth promotion. Unlike existing parenting coaching programs that focus on general parenting or faith education, this program is a complex program that combines faith and nurturing, and it can be meaningful in that it is a new attempt.
