Modeling and Characterization of a Resonant Converter from a Hamiltonian Systems Perspective
In this paper, Hamiltonian modeling methods for resonant converters, their advantages, properties and limitations are analyzed. The main contribution is to propose a non-extended order continuous Hamiltonian model that recovers the system signals and provides a practical scheme for model-based control. The advantages of the proposed modeling methodology is illustrated by studing the particular example given by current-fed resonant converter.
