LANGUAGE POLICY OF KYRGYZSTAN AS A FACTOR OF STRENGTHENING INTERCULTURAL DIALOGUE
This study examines Kyrgyzstan's language policy and 2022 census data to understand the country's linguistic situation, focusing on the influence of historical and cultural factors on bilingualism. The methodology involves statistical data analysis, legislative acts, and scholarly literature. The results show that the current language strategy supports the Kyrgyz language and preserves its ethnic linguistic diversity. Strengthening intercultural dialogue fosters civic identity and unites residents, regardless of ethnic, religious, and cultural affiliations. This research demonstrates how a balanced language policy contributes to the social cohesion and sustainable development of multicultural societies.
