THE RUSSIAN HIGHER EDUCATION SYSTEM BETWEEN GLOBALIZATIONAND THE REVIVAL OF NATIONAL TRADITIONS

Russia's withdrawal from the Bologna process contributed to the intensification of discussions on the prospects for the development of the domestic higher education system. One of the issues to discuss is the return to the national traditions of university training that developed within the framework of the Soviet higher school. Proponents of relying on domestic experience focus on the advantages of a fundamental approach to training specialists, which allows to give them a good theoretical basis. In addition, the termination of Russia's participation in the Bologna process interrupted the process of entry of Russian universities into the pan-European educational space. It seems that integration processes in the field of education, which lead to close cooperation between Russia, China, India, as well as countries in Africa and Latin America, are a full-fledged replacement for “Euroglobalization”
