CONCEPT ABUSE AS AN ELEMENT OF THE CONCEPTUAL CATEGORY FAMILY

The article aims at identifying the possibility of the concept ABUSE inclusion in the conceptual category FAMILY on the basis of common, reciprocal and similar features of the corresponding concepts. Lexicographical, conceptual, and descriptive methods are applied to analyze the definitions of the Russian lexeme abuse and proverbs and sayings about family and abuse. Corresponding materials from the Internet onlinemedium Yandex Dzen are investigated. 16 features of the concept ABUSE have been outlined. Among them there is one inverse, one common, and four similar features common to the concept FAMILY. It allows to include ABUSE into the FAMILY conceptual category. The development of the concept, a change in the significance of some features and the movement of some features to the periphery are noted.
