ANCIENT RITUALS AND RITES OF THE ALTAI PEOPLE: THEIR ROLE IN THE FORMATION OF CULTURAL HERITAGE

The research is devoted to the study of ancient rituals and ceremonies of the Altai peoples and their influence on the formation of the cultural heritage of the ethnos. Various aspects of rituals are analyzed: from symbolism in the local ritual tradition to the socio-cultural significance of rituals in the modern world. Particular attention is paid to the historical and philosophical context of rituals, and an attempt is made to trace their evolutionary development and understanding in modern society. The unique features and values of Altai culture, which, among other things, consist in preserving the ancient ritual tradition, are outlined.
