ANALYSIS OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF POLYMER SOLUTION INJECTION AT THE "WEST" SECTION OF THE KALAMKAS FIELD
This article presents an analysis of the effectiveness of polymer flooding technology at the Zapad site. The main purpose of the study was to evaluate the effect of injection of a polymer solution on increasing the oil recovery coefficient (ORC) and reducing the water content of products. During the experiment, a polymer solution based on polyacrylamide was used, which was injected into a formation with low permeability. To assess the effectiveness, changes in the flow rate of liquid, oil and water were monitored, as well as an analysis of pressure dynamics in wells. The results of the study showed that the injection of a polymer solution made it possible to significantly increase the oil recovery of the reservoir, increasing the ORC by 3.8% compared with traditional flooding methods. It was also revealed a decrease in the water content of products by 9.3% due to an improvement in the distribution of fluid flows in the reservoir. These results confirm the expediency of using polymer flooding to increase the efficiency of mining in areas with similar geological and physical conditions. The conducted research can serve as a basis for optimizing field development schemes and the introduction of new technologies to enhance oil recovery at other facilities.
