IMPULSE ACTION ON THE BOTTOM-HOLE ZONE OF ELASTIC BALANCING DEVICES
This article examines the impact of elastic oscillations on the near-wellbore zone (NWZ) of a well, induced by the resonant mode of operation of elastic balancing devices. The study results analyze the operating mode of a well under the infl uence of periodic pressure in the near-wellbore zone, which can be generated within a small range from the resonant mode of elastic elements transmitted through the rods of sucker-rod pump units (SRPU), resembling sound vibrations. It is noted that the operating mode of the well can change drastically, and to optimize its management, it is necessary to substantiate the process parameters considering pressure and fi ltration resistances. Mathematical expressions with suffi cient accuracy for design calculations describe the patterns and hydrodynamics of fl uid movement in the near-wellbore zone and the borehole of an oil and gas production well under conditions of increased water cut and sand production, typical in the later stages of old fi eld exploitation.
