Synchronization of Bidirectionally Coupled Nonidentical Systems Via Output Feedback

We investigate the synchronization of bidirectionally coupled nonidentical chaotic systems. We propose a design of their coupling to achieve synchronization that takes into consideration the variable structure nature of the systems, and guarantees the stability of an identical synchronization manifold for nonidentical systems using output feedback linearization. We illustrate our results with numerical simulations of well-known benchmark chaotic systems.

Abstract

We investigate the synchronization of bidirectionally coupled nonidentical chaotic systems. We propose a design of their coupling to achieve synchronization that takes into consideration the variable structure nature of the systems, and guarantees the stability of an identical synchronization manifold for nonidentical systems using output feedback linearization. We illustrate our results with numerical simulations of well-known benchmark chaotic systems.
