Graphic interprettation of unfamiliarity in constructivist posters
Structuralism is an influential art and design movement that emerged before and after the October Revolution in Russia, marking the beginning of modern design in the 20th century. Russian literary theorist Viktor Borisovich Hikrovsky believes that “strangeness” is the process of updating ideas, breaking away from conventions, and discovering novelty in familiar things. Using creative methods to make objects unfamiliar. Therefore, this study examined the relationship between perception in the form of Russian constructivism and 'unfamiliarity'.
