A Study on the Impact of UI/UX Design of Pet Community Applications on User Satisfaction : Focused on the Cat Community Mobile Applications

This study analyzes the impact of UI/UX design on user satisfaction in pet community mobile applications, focusing on three platforms: PetFriends, MyNyangBokam, and BeMyPet. Using data collected from user surveys, the study employs descriptive statistics, reliability analysis (Cronbach's Alpha), and multiple regression analysis to evaluate how key design and functional elements affect users' emotional satisfaction. The results show that brand consistency, feedback systems, and interface intuitiveness are significant factors in user satisfaction across all three applications. For BeMyPet, community functionality was a key driver of satisfaction, while usability and feedback systems were critical factors for PetFriends and MyNyangBokam. The study suggests that enhancing UI design consistency and improving feedback systems are essential for increasing user satisfaction, and promoting community features can help strengthen bonds among pet owners and deepen their relationships with their pets.
