For this purpose, multiple regression analysis and mediation analysis were conducted using SPSS and PROCESS macro model 4 on 160 adult college students located in J Province. The results are as follows: First, the meaning of life of adult university students had a significant impact on their psychological well-being. Second, the parallel mediating effects of grit and mental health in the relationship between meaning of life and mental well-being were significant. In other words, the higher the meaning of life, the higher the grit, and the higher the mental health of adult university students, the higher the level of mental well-being, and it was confirmed that the meaning of life had a significant effect on mental wellbeing through grit and mental health. As a psychosocial measure to improve the mental well-being of adult university students, intervention that considers not only the meaning of life but also grit and mental health is needed.
