Titanium Dioxide Based Nanoparticles to Decompose Hypertension Drug from Municipal Waste Water
Hypertension drugs usage will be increasing in developing countries in that our India is one. One of the pharmaceutical effluents contain amlodipine is toxic to water bodies to create major ecological issue. This study focus to develop an economical nanophotocatalyst like Fe doped nanoTiO2 and Copper doped nanoTiO2. Obtained Cu/Fe doped nanoTiO2 indicates the rutile –anatase phase transformation improves the surface property of composite. The Fe doped nanoTiO2 shows 96 % photodegradation of amlodipine compared to the Cu- TiO2 and it is competitive to literature.
