IMOBILIZAÇÃO DE LIPASE EM SUPORTES DE BAIXO CUSTO: UMA COMPARAÇÃO DOS MEIOS EMPREGADOS E EFICIÊNCIA
Enzyme immobilization is a technique of great industrial relevance, since it increases and improves the stability, selectivity and activity properties of biomolecules, in addition to allowing their reuse. Therefore, the immobilization of the lipase enzyme stands out due to its importance in industry, since it has the capacity to catalyze several reactions and be applied in various processes. In this sense, the use of supports for the immobilization of this enzyme becomes essential. This study sought to explore the diversity of low-cost supports produced from agro-industrial waste, with the objective of understanding the evolution of research on this subject, as well as highlighting the importance of reusing these wastes. The results indicated that research has gradually advanced, with emphasis on immobilization methods by covalent bonding and physical adsorption. The ideal operating conditions are between 35°C and 60°C and pH of 6 to 10, with neutral pH (7) being the most commonly used. Furthermore, glutaraldehyde was frequently used to activate the supports in the studies analyzed.
