Synergistic effect of bimetallic MOF for Energy Storage Application
Escalating energy crisis has highlighted the necessity of creating effective energy storage systems (ESS).Among different ESS alternatives supercapacitors have surfaced as promising technology, connecting traditional capacitors and batteries. For optimal performance, the advancement of sophisticated electrode materials has emerged as a key area of research.Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) have garnered attention for their exceptional electrochemical characteristics. So, this study focuses on the synthesis of bimetallic Zn-Ce MOF, utilizing the combined effect of both metals. The sample exhibits a remarkable specific capacitance of 1453F/g at a current density of 0.7A/g, indicating its ability to serve as a high-performance electrode material for supercapacitors.
