Simulation of smart home elements using Arduino Uno
This paper focuses on simulating different components of a smart home system using Arduino Uno, with an emphasis on developing and implementing automated control systems within residential environments. With the rapid technological advancements worldwide, the concept of a smart home has become an integral part of daily life, incorporating advanced technologies to enhance comfort, safety, and energy efficiency. The article presents a practical approach to designing a smart home using simple and effective tools such as Arduino Uno and simulation software. This paper introduces the concept of a smart home and its benefits, including enhanced security and energy efficiency. The study then highlights the design process using Arduino Uno as a central controller, and explains how to integrate sensors and actuators to automate various functions such as outdoor lighting, solar energy management, temperature regulation, and water tank filling. The article also discusses the importance of simulating system behavior before actual implementation, which helps in detecting errors and improving performance. The study concludes by emphasizing the practical advantages of using simulation tools in smart home projects, noting how these tools help in testing ideas before implementation, which reduces costs and improves efficiency.
